MOTOR YACHT CALYPSO

The Motor Yacht Calypso is a 72-foot aluminum hull motor yacht originally built for Jack Wrather, producer of the radio and television show "The Lone Ranger", who christened it the "Lone Ranger IV."

Calypso is USCG certified to carry up to 49 passengers and a crew of 3, but is most comfortable up to 45 passengers and a crew of 5 to insure a high level of personal service and safety. Available for small weddings, commitment ceremonies, and corporate meetings or for an intimate gathering.

The Calypso has been used extensively as shown on TV shows such as Donald Trump's "Apprentice", "Law & Order" episodes, as well as providing the "Wrap Party for the cast of "The Sopranos", also, used in the motion picture "When Will I Be Loved", as well as a photo shoot by "In Style Magazine" and a TV Commercial for Talbot's. The yacht also hosted parties by Will Smith, Donna Karan, The Jonas Brothers, and Neil Diamond The group were featured on the yacht enjoying her many amenities.

The average group size is 20 to 45 for excursions with cocktail and buffet style food and full bar beverage service. Sit down dinner can be served to 12 guests at the dining table.

On the main deck, guests enjoy adjoining main and cocktail booth during salons, tastefully decorated in a Hemingway motif. A gorgeous Corian, teak and stainless galley are forward of the salons with doors opening to both the port and starboard side decks. A varnished mahogany and teak after deck, with a full service wet bar and combination cocktail/dining table is aft of the main salons with access via double French doors. Wing doors open to the covered side decks and astern ladder provides access to the swim platform. The fore deck has seating for eight along with six portable teak deck chairs and comfortably accommodate up to twenty-five standing quests.

The enclosed, upper deck pilothouse has day bed seating for eight and an after deck seating for nine quests. Accommodations for five quests, in 2 staterooms with two en suite heads are available for special arrangements term charters. The mid-ship engine/laundry room separates the quarters (two cabins and dinette) from the guest suites, which are each accessed from private companionways.
